The Brashear/Novinger baseball team hosted Linn County/Meadville Friday night at Brashear. The game was a pitchers duel as neither team scored a run until Brashear broke through for a pair of runs in the 5th on their way to a 5-0 win. Drew Magruder and Cole Erwin both had 2 hits with Bailyn Halley and Cory Holcomb also having hits. Cole Erwin went 6 and 2/3 innings, striking out 17 for Brashear for the win. Bailyn Halley came on in the bottom of the 7th to get the last two outs.
